"Autobiography of Influence"

Personal Installation

September 2025 - Present

In the incredibly impressionable period that college is, students are constanlty faced with a plethora of external influences. As someone who is living this exact experience, I wanted to document all of these ideas and conversations that influence me to be the person I am. Personally, especially as I've learned to resdiscover who I am, I wanted to tell my story of all the wacky, maybe insignificant, maybe life-changing influences I've been exposed to during college.

In this installation, when I come across a photo or topic that I resonate with, I create a design out of and include it onto my dorm wall. Orignally as a method to strategically practice my graphic design skill, the instlation has grown to signify a lot more for me. Composed solely of 11" by 17" posters, it's a visual representation of how I've lived and how I will continue to live despite the variety of influences, good and bad, that substantiate my college life.
